Given the latest COVID-19 recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, the Maryland Dept. of Health and Governor Larry Hogan, we have reluctantly decided to close our dental office until further notice for any elective and non-urgent dental procedures and appointments. If you are a patient of record at Alluring Smiles, then Dr. Lucy Gilbart is available on a case-by-case basis to perform dental procedures that are critically necessary for the maintenance of a patient's health. If you would like to reach Dr. Lucy Gilbart, please leave a message at 301-305-2792, and she will return your call. Keep in mind that this is an unprecedented situation, and we will be prioritizing our attention to help those with true dental emergencies, so if your call is of a non-emergency nature, then please contact us after the COVID-19 pandemic has improved. For a more thorough explanation on what is considered to be a true dental emergency, please refer to the document below from the American Dental Association. Thank you and stay safe everybody!

Alluring Smiles, LLC updated their website address.
Unfortunately, effective immediately, Alluring Smiles is permanently closed. If you would like a copy of your x-rays or other dental records, please send an email request to alluringsmilesrecords@gmail.com, and we will get back to you regarding the proper forms to complete and the fees that will be assessed. Please be advised that there will be a charge for all records requests that needs to be paid before any records are released. The charges to be assessed will be calculated according to guidelines from the Maryland Board of Dental Examiners (see their March 13, 2019 revision of this Bulletin below). Also, while we are happy to provide any records that we have or that we acquired after Dr. Maria Hayes' passing, you should know that the VAST majority of dentists will want to take their own x-rays, so for MOST people, any records over 1 year old are typically not helpful at all. Thank you for understanding and we wish you all the best during these challenging times.
