When a patient is nervous, it can make it hard for the dentist to work, which makes it harder for the patient, then harder for the dentist, etc. A sedation dentist is able to help the patient be much more comfortable and relax, which means they'll be able to do much better work.
Unfortunately, even people who’ve spent their whole lives taking excellent care of their teeth can get into accidents that cause tooth loss. Rest assured that our team is always available to help you restore your bite and your smile after an accident.

Do you know what dental implants are made of? If you have guessed “Titanium”, then you are right! This is the same material that is used in making rockets.
Do you brush first, or floss? Everyone has a preference, and there are good arguments for both - but prevailing wisdom is that it's important to do both regularly. Adding a water flosser to your routine doesn't hurt, either.
One of the most important things to a sedation dentist is making sure that their patients are comfortable. This starts from the first appointment, when they'll make sure to gather all your information, and only move onto x-rays or examinations if you're comfortable.
Going to the dentist shouldn’t be a chore. That is why we try to make the experience as unintimidating as possible. Your teeth deserve good medical care and we promise to give it.
Studies show that a majority of patients worried about root canals reported that the procedure wasn’t nearly as difficult as they feared. If you’re worried you may be in the minority when it comes to root canals, nitrous oxide or general anesthesia will guarantee you feel no pain.
The tooth fairy is just as susceptible to inflation as the rest of the economy. American children now receive an average of $3.00 under their pillows for each tooth. This is up from $2.10 in 2011, and way up from the average nickel or dime in the 1950s.
Dentists give patients that extra boost in self-confidence. Did you know that one of the things people notice when meeting someone for the first time is their smile? Your dentist makes sure your smile isn’t just beautiful but also healthy!
Did you know that laser dentistry eliminates the need for stitches in most dental procedures? Since the procedure is less invasive (with no poking, prodding, or drilling), there is significantly less bleeding and an almost non-existent risk of infection.
When should a child visit the dentist for the first time? The best time for a first dental appointment is when the very first tooth begins to erupt. An early dental appointment can help to ensure a lifetime of healthy oral hygiene.
The container you use to store your toothbrush upright in between brushing should be cleaned regularly to help lessen the chances of bacteria being present.
Besides being unsightly (it can be yellow or brown), tartar causes other problems. Because it is rough, it makes it more difficult for a home oral hygiene regimen to remove plaque, which causes it to build even more, and eventually leads to tooth decay.
