Highly trained foot and ankle surgeon Raymon Hanna, DPM, MD, AACFAS, specializes in all aspects of podiatry, including sports injuries, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, and wound care. He treats patients of all ages, from newborns through mature adults, at Alpha Omega Foot and Ankle in Palm Harbor, Florida.
To ensure his availability to all patients, Dr. Hanna has appointment times that range from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm. He also accommodates patients who need weekend appointments and is available by phone for emergencies any time.
In addition to English, Dr. Hanna speaks fluent Arabic. Before specializing in podiatry, Dr. Hanna earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University, the leading medical school in Cairo, Egypt. He developed an interest in sports injuries and diabetic limb salvage, which led Dr. Hanna to earn his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery degree at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hanna went on to complete three years of surgical training at Inspira Health Network in Vineland, New Jersey, where he was named chief resident his senior year. He continued to train under world-renowned leaders in his field at The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore.
His extensive training in limb salvage includes the management of chronic wounds complicated by bone infection, as well as performing procedures that involve skin grafts and skin and muscle flaps.
Dr. Hanna is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Outside of work, Dr. Hanna enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include traveling, biking, fishing, and playing chess.
