Alyda L. Stabile, MD, is a pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley.
Dr. Stabile has conducted research on improving communication between physicians and parents and has published and presented her work in the field of pediatrics. Her other interests include nutrition and obesity, as well as breastfeeding education for new mothers. She is board eligible in pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
After graduating from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers, Dr. Stabile served her pediatrics residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York. During her residency, Dr. Stabile took part in a global health elective to Kenya, where she worked at a pediatric clinic and hospital providing inpatient and outpatient care. She is active in community bullying awareness and prevention, as a volunteer for the Long Island Coalition Against Bullying (LICAB), helping children and adolescents struggling from bullying. She is fluent in English, Italian, and medical Spanish.
