We love seeing you in person at our branches, but don't forget: Masks aren't necessary when you use our app. 😷❤️😊
This is James. He's been an ANB customer for 15 years and always uses our Georgia branch. But every time he came in, he was wearing a hat from one of our competitor banks! 😳 When we asked why, he told us that bank hat was the only one he'd found with a cloth strap. (Plastic straps irritated his skin.) So we decided to make James a custom ANB hat, with the right kind of strap AND the right logo, for him to wear every day. Here's James and Kaitlin after she gave him the new hat last week. We ❤️ our customers.
Mobile Banking with ANB: Because going places is so 2019.
We think banking should be fun. We think signage should be fun, too.
Here's Kelsey Lankford, one of our mortgage loan officers, talking about why this is an incredible time to be refinancing a home. "Depending on the term that you're looking to refinance, you could save hundreds of thousands of dollars over the life of your loan,” she says. Watch the full TV segment below. 🚨 FRAUD ALERT 🚨 Unfortunately, the "Pay a Person" scam is going around again. Customers are reporting having received phone calls claiming to be from our "Fraud Department" asking them for their private banking information. We will never ask our customers for personal identification details via the internet, text or telephone. WE HAVE THAT INFO ALREADY. If you think your account or personal information may have been compromised, call (806) 378-8000 immediately.
If you missed it earlier, the City of Amarillo presented its virtual "State of the City" message this morning. Watch it below. We join our civic leadership in believing Amarillo is still strong, still growing, and still working to become a place where every citizen has the opportunity to reach their full potential. ❤️ Ginger Nelson October 8 at 8:30 AM · Welcome to Amarillo’s State of the City How do we do a state of the city address during a pandemic? Like many things in 2020 – the answer is “differently.” Amarillo’s State of the City 2020 will be a virtual event that combines interviews from leaders across our city with a website that reports data to citizens about how our city performed over the last year. We took a camera and went all over the city to hear from citizens of all different ages and backgrounds in order to accurately present the state of our entire city, not just our city government. We discovered that our city is suffering but not quitting. We are grieving but not without hope. We are uncertain about some circumstances but rooted in our beliefs about faith, family, and country. As a city, we are still on our mission to create a place where every citizen has the opportunity to reach their potential for greatness. WATCH Amarillo's State of the City 2020 by clicking below.
Have we told you lately that we love you? Seriously, ANB customers are the best in the world. We are grateful for you, for your families, for your communities, and for choosing to bank with us.
We loved Amarillo before George Strait made it cool. ❤️

A lot of our male officers are known for wearing ties, but we don't require it for tellers or customer service reps. But that hasn't stopped our Georgia Branch team from a long-standing tradition they call "Tie Day Wednesday." They like to show up and show out in their fanciest ties...just because. We ❤️ this crew.
Francisco and Jose at our Northeast Branch want to remind you that, with COVID cases surging in the area, we are still rocking social distancing and wearing masks. 😷 If you aren't comfortable getting out, try our convenient mobile banking or pull into our drive-ups!
Our Market Street branch on Georgia has reopened on weekdays! We are excited to welcome you back. Come see us while you're shopping for groceries.
🎉 Happy Monday! Let's meet another new ANB officer.🔹 Colleen Church Assistant Vice President A native Coloradan, Coco raised sheep in rural Hoehne, Colorado, before arriving here by way of WT. What made her feel more “sheepish” than all that shepherding? Not learning to snow ski until after she married a Texan! Fun fact: This new AVP and Senior Loan Analyst literally fell hard for her husband, Spencer. She tripped off the altar at the end of their church wedding ceremony. Head over heels, y’all.
Great news! We are excited to announce that we are reopening our location inside United Market Street on Georgia starting Monday, February 8. We'll be open Monday to Friday, 11-7.
🎉 We love celebrating our newly promoted team members! Next on the list... 🔹 Whitney Wells Vice President Whitney grew up in Amarillo but tried to “escape“ (her words) after graduating from Texas Tech. But that was during the financial collapse—and the job market forced her back home. “Best decision ever,” she says. She got married, started at ANB, and is now a Vice President and Trust Officer. “I wake up wanting to come to work,” says Whitter-bug, who quite accurately notes this is not a cool nickname.
🎉 Up next in our ongoing list of 2021 promotions...🔹 Chris Richardson Vice President Way back in 1997, a young Chris Richardson got a job as a part-time teller. This Palo Duro grad has now attained the title of Vice President. He’s stuck with ANB for so long because he loves the people and the bank’s local generosity. We’re glad, because if Chris wasn’t banking, he insists he might have become a champion bull rider. To his credit, we’ve never seen Chris get thrown from his chair at work.
Our friends at the Amarillo Fire Department stopped by yesterday to thank us for our community support and long-term partnership with them. They especially appreciate our fun culture and wellness focus—two elements they are emphasizing within the department. To say thanks, they presented us a custom helmet with a one-of-a-kind patch made just for us! It's a helmet style traditionally made for the Fire Chief and is considered a top honor from the Fire Department. We are so grateful for the men and women who serve Amarillo in this capacity. ❤️
