Big day at our Summit Branch! We are celebrating Amy Henderson's 20th anniversary with ANB and Brenda Davis' 10th anniversary. Congratulations! 🎉
(We love our loyal team members. We also love confetti.)
We planted a lot of trees downtown.
Then we installed lampposts downtown.
Then we added banners about trees to our lampposts downtown.
🌳💡💙
We love seeing you in person at our branches, but don't forget: Masks aren't necessary when you use our app. 😷❤️😊
This is James. He's been an ANB customer for 15 years and always uses our Georgia branch. But every time he came in, he was wearing a hat from one of our competitor banks! 😳 When we asked why, he told us that bank hat was the only one he'd found with a cloth strap. (Plastic straps irritated his skin.) So we decided to make James a custom ANB hat, with the right kind of strap AND the right logo, for him to wear every day. Here's James and Kaitlin after she gave him the new hat last week.
We ❤️ our customers.

Last Friday was “Crazy Mask Day” for the ANB family across our branches and locations. Who wore it best? 😷
We are CLOSED TODAY in observance of Columbus Day, but our ATMs and online banking are available around the clock!
Tomorrow's a bank holiday, but we have ATMs almost everywhere that never close.

🚨 FRAUD ALERT 🚨 Unfortunately, the "Pay a Person" scam is going around again. Customers are reporting having received phone calls claiming to be from our "Fraud Department" asking them for their private banking information. We will never ask our customers for personal identification details via the internet, text or telephone. WE HAVE THAT INFO ALREADY.
If you think your account or personal information may have been compromised, call (806) 378-8000 immediately.
If you missed it earlier, the City of Amarillo presented its virtual "State of the City" message this morning. Watch it below. We join our civic leadership in believing Amarillo is still strong, still growing, and still working to become a place where every citizen has the opportunity to reach their full potential. ❤️

Welcome to Amarillo’s State of the City
How do we do a state of the city address during a pandemic? Like many things in 2020 – the answer is “differently.” Amarillo’s State of the City 2020 will be a virtual event that combines interviews from leaders across our city with a website that reports data to citizens about how our city performed over the last year. We took a camera and went all over the city to hear from citizens of all different ages and backgrounds in order to accurately present the state of our entire city, not just our city government.
We discovered that our city is suffering but not quitting. We are grieving but not without hope. We are uncertain about some circumstances but rooted in our beliefs about faith, family, and country.
As a city, we are still on our mission to create a place where every citizen has the opportunity to reach their potential for greatness.

Today is National First Responders Day! We are so grateful for all the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our communities. Here's to all the police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs who keep us safe. ❤️ We appreciate you!
Our main branch team downtown had a pumpkin-decorating contest, and customers voted on the winners:
1st: Jules / alien invasion
2nd: Hajdi / princess carriage
3rd: Ashley / Ursula the Sea Witch
Check out all the entries in the last photo! 🎃
What does customer service look like? It looks like our North Branch manager Adrian and loan officer Travis braving this morning's slick conditions and 19º temperatures to clear the entry of snow and ice.
It’s snowy and icy outside today, but we are thankful for the moisture. Stay safe and warm! ❤️❄️
It’s Game Day in Canyon! We’re excited to watch West Texas A&M University take on Angelo State at Buffalo Stadium for #Homecoming2020. Go Buffs!
Sorry, everyone. We have had to delete our giveaway post from last night. Scammers have started using it to target our customers. They have set up a spoof ANB account, have friend-requested some of the participants, and are telling them they won. Then they are asking for credit card info! 😡 Of course, we will never ask for your personal info or credit card number.
We love our giveaways and are very sorry this one didn't work. We are reporting the spoof ANB accounts. Please remember: Branded pages like ANB don't make friend requests in the first place. So you will never get a legitimate friend request from us either.
🎉 Everyone, say "hi" to Kelsey, next on our promotions list. Then say "congrats" to Kelsey because she deserves it. 🔹
Kelsey Lloyd
Assistant Vice President
Now an AVP in our Mortgage Loan Office, Kelsey arrived at ANB after her WT graduation in 2015. She’d love to be a famous chef, but so far has only mastered grilled cheese and “a mean bowl of cereal.” She may be coo-coo for Cocoa Puffs, but we appreciate that she’s also coo-coo for the family culture and atmosphere at ANB. (Meanwhile, we think our home loans team does snap-crackle-poppin’ good work.)
On days like today, we are extremely thankful for our dedicated maintenance team, who keep our sidewalks (and tailbones) safe during icy conditions. ❄️ Stay warm!
Yesterday morning, amid very cold temperatures, a vehicle stalled out near the entrance to our Coulter branch. The customer worried we would have to tow it before she could get it moved. Instead, we just put Heath, Kevin, Angel and Nik on the job, and they pushed the car into a parking spot. (This is a side benefit of having such healthy, fit employees.) 💪
🎉 Next up on our big 2021 list of promotions...🔹
Josette Escobar
Assistant Vice President
A Borger native and new AVP/Operations Manager, Josette joined our crew in 1996 as a part-time teller. Since then, she has become a full-time expert at money straightening and other vital operations duties. Jos says she loves everything about ANB but prefers to “blend in” and stay behind the scenes. She definitely stands out to us, though, so we had the last laugh by featuring her here. Boom!
Our Market Street branch on Georgia has reopened on weekdays! We are excited to welcome you back. Come see us while you're shopping for groceries.
