With over two decades in practice as a board-certified internist and anti-aging specialist, Patria González, MD, is an expert in innovative aesthetic and wellness solutions. Dr. González performs or oversees all services offered at Amber Medical Spa, located in the Inwood neighborhood of Manhattan, New York.
After earning her Doctor of Medicine from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo Dominican Republic, where she graduated cum laude, Dr. González relocated to the United States. Dr. González went on to complete her internship and residency and ultimately became board certified in internal medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Because of Dr. González’s passion for regenerative and anti-aging medicine, she gained additional training to become a licensed aesthetician. She even has advanced certification in injectable services, such as Juvéderm® and Botox®, as well as Smartlipo® by Cynosure® body sculpting.
Dr. González founded Amber Medical Spa to be able to provide integrative medicine and spa services for men and women. She leads a team of medical professionals who provide platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facials, InMode® Fractora microneedling, and weight loss planning, to name a few.
Outside of the medical spa, Dr. González serves as chairman of the board of Community Physicians of New York-Presbyterian/Columbia. She’s also the medical director and attending physician of internal medicine at New York Neurology & Rehabilitation Center.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Dr. González is able to help clients who may sometimes struggle with language barriers. She’s known for providing long appointment times and educating clients about their treatments, so clients can make informed decisions.
