Hundreds of Las Cruces residents made their way to the parade, to watch and cheer on veterans and their families in cars, floats and on motorcycles, as they went up Church and Main streets and down Water Street.

Team members completed the 14.2 desert journey amid 7000 participants from all over the world! Great job everyone! The Bataan Memorial Death March is a challenging march through the high desert terrain of the White Sands Missile Range. The memorial march is conducted in honor of the heroic service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II, sacrificing their freedom, health, and, in many cases, their very lives.
