We are open and welcome ALL patients including new ones. However, we are still on a limited schedule by appointment only. Mask or facial covering is MANDATORY in our office.
Starting Monday 5/4/2020, our office will reopen on a limited schedule seeing urgent patients by appointment only. Urgent will be defined as wounds, infections, and pain. Mask or facial covering is mandatory.
We are closely monitoring the Covid-19 outbreak trend and Governor Hogan's "Stay at Home" orders. Our anticipated reopening is May 4 which may be pushed back depending on Governor Hogan's recommendations. There will be some changes made in our office for the safety of our patients and staff. We will continue to clean and wipe down surfaces throughout the day. Masks or facial coverings will be mandatory in our office. Upon entering our office, patients will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms and/or elevated temperature. You be asked if you have a fever, acute onset cough, sore throat, new shortness of breath, or new muscle aches. If you do not have these symptoms, a staff member will then take your temperature. If you do have symptoms or your temperature is >100 F, the staff member will ask that you return home and your appointment will be rescheduled. You will be instructed to contact your primary care provider for information on how to monitor your symptoms. This is mandatory to ensure the highest level of safety for you, our patients, and our staff. Not only do we want to return to work, we want you to feel safe returning to our office. Please stay safe.
At the recommendation of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Governor Hogan due to the Covid-19 virus and anticipation of further outbreak, I have decided for the safety of my patients and staff, to close my office for the month of April. Our anticipated reopening is May 4. This was a difficult decision and our prayers are with all of you. Stay safe.
Dear Patients, At Ambulatory Foot Care, we think of our patients as family. I want to assure you that we are closely monitoring information about Coronavirus (COVID-19), following the direction provided by state and local health officials. The health and safety of our staff and patients are of utmost importance to us. At this time, our office will continue to be open during our normal hours. We are kindly asking our patients to assist us in reducing the risk of exposure to the Coronavirus. Please minimize the number of people in our office by not bringing family members with you, only bringing one parent with a patient, and refrain from bringing siblings. Please reschedule and stay home when sick, especially if you have recently traveled internationally or been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with the virus. Current recommendations from health officials to reduce the risk of spread are to continue regular practice for cleaning, hand washing, and caring for personal illness. In our office, we are wiping down each treatment room after each use as well as high traffic areas and frequently touched surfaces throughout the day. Infection Prevention Reminders: • Perform vigilant hand hygiene – wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer • Avoid shaking hands, and touching your eyes, nose and mouth, especially after sneezing • Maintain social distances of 6 feet or more • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces regularly with household cleaning sprays or wipes • Stay home when you are sick We appreciate your cooperation at this time. Thank you, Dr. Mickenberg and Staff
