This week is National Veterinary Technician Week. It is a time to celebrate all of our treatment staff that help care for you and your pets. Covid Curbside Care-
We have had some frustrated clients due to not being able to come into the building yet. We completely understand why you are upset. Please remember that-
1. It is not the staff's fault. Please do not take it out on them.
2. Omaha's numbers are still climbing rapidly and if we want to stay open to help your pet's when they really need us, we need to keep our exposure to Covid low.
And 3. Even though you are not with your pet, we ASSURE you that we have staff dedicated to ONLY sitting and holding your pet during their exams and testing. They are getting love and attention so that they do not develop fear or anxiety when visiting the hospital.

We normally are able to take on quite a bit of emergencies and urgent cares throughout the day. However, we are down 3 doctors at this time and may not be able to accommodate as many sick patients as normal. We are doing our very best to help everyone we can, but we also want to make sure we are providing top-notch patient care and nothing less.
So please continue to have patience with us if you call and we are unable to squeeze you in today or this week. Urgent Pet Care has always been very helpful and offered exceptional care and that is where we currently recommend after 5pm at night.

Black Friday is one of the worst days for Vet clinics because so many people end up feeding their dogs things that are NOT good for them. Clinics are slammed with sick pets. Be mindful what table scraps you feed your animals. Your pet and wallet will thank you (and me!)

Gerdie has been seeing Dr. Jondle for acupuncture treatment to address some chronic conditions such as arthritis, lameness, and a muscle condition. Her mom reports that Gerdie felt great after her first treatment last week and came in for her second treatment today! We love Gerdie!
