What this day truly represents. I hope you all have a very happy Memorial Day, and I hope you all take a moment to appreciate and reflect upon why it is possible to do so.
In this unprecedented time, we know that there are many uncertainties. We know, because we are going through this with you. We are concerned for our families well-being and health, just like you. That is why we have taken steps to keep us safe, and to keep you safe in case you do need us.
First, we have cancelled all non-essential calls that require us to enter anyone’s home. Maintenance is important, but not vital in times like this. We can still check everything possible from outside, but we will not enter a residence right now unless there is an immediate need to make a repair.
Next, if we do need to enter your home to fix your air conditioning, our technicians will equip themselves with a fresh pair of shoe covers, rubber gloves, and mask before doing so. What we ask in return is that you have the way cleared in advance for us to get to your attic, basement, or other equipment location as fast as possible. We want to get you up and running as quickly as possible, and limit contact along the way. Further, we will ask that you be available, if possible to operate your thermostat as needed throughout the process of diagnostic and repair.
Finally, once repairs are made, we are asking everyone who is able to call in your payment for service to our office by phone. This will further limit our contact and allow us to practice social distancing as much as possible.
At least once per week, we gather as a team to discuss what we are doing to protect ourselves and our families, as well as our customers. We talk with each other about what ways we have found to get the things we need for ourselves and our families, like gas and groceries, without coming into contact with others. We maintain, as much as we possibly can our 6 feet of separation here in the office. Everyday, we sanitize every door knob, light switch, and handle we all use in the office. We all use hand sanitizer and wash our hands at every opportunity. We are doing our part.
There is much uncertainty right now, and we know it. Many people have been laid off, and many more have seen their income affected in some negative way. In an effort to help with this, we and one of our banking partners are offering 6 Months Same As Cash Financing for any repair. This program allows you 6 full months of no payments and no interest as long as the balance is paid in full within that time period. To apply, or just to get more details, give us a call at 919-552-9223.
We are here. We are working. If you need us, we are a phone call away.
As we are all working hard to maintain social distance by keeping ourselves and our families at home, it is our job to try and keep your home comfortable while you do. We are here, and we are working, until and unless we are told we can no longer do so.
We are being vigilant and following recommended practices both personally and professionally to limit our exposure while doing so. In some cases, it is not necessary for us to enter your home, but in many cases it may be unavoidable. In such cases we ask that you help us by clearing the way and preparing the access to your attics, basements, or utility rooms prior to our arrival. This will help our technicians get through your home and to the equipment that needs service as quickly as possible.
We are also encouraging all of our customers to call in their payments via telephone to limit direct contact. Our technicians are using gloves, masks, hand sanitizer, and every opportunity they have to wash their hands. Please do the same for us. Further, we will not send a technician to your home if there is any question of them being sick. Please do us the same courtesy and let us know if you or someone in your home is, or may be sick.
This is a tough time for us all, but together, we will make it through. Help us get you through it comfortably. Thank you all.
