About Albert Serur
Albert Serur joined American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL) immediately following his graduation from West Virginia University in 2011. Like many people graduating college, he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do. A family friend who worked at AIL’s Home Office, suggested he take a look at the career track the Company offered. “He told me to meet Simon Arias and Tommy Vena, to see if this career path would be a good fit,” Albert says, “and I immediately fell in love with the opportunity.”
Albert hit the ground running, eager to start helping others protect themselves and their families. “The products offered by AIL help families focus on the grieving process, and spend time with their loved ones instead of struggling because they can’t pay their bills,” Albert says.
The majority of the families AIL aims to protect are union workers. The goal is to protect and serve those that protect and serve us. “We educate a client base that sometimes seems to be neglected or overlooked in our great country, and that’s an amazing experience,” says Albert.
As he grew with the Company, so did his desire to mentor others. He began to realize the business becomes less about what you can do and more about what you can teach others to do. “Teaching people how to run a successful business and watching them grow mentally, spiritually, and professionally as my leaders did for me, is by far the most rewarding part of this career,” says Albert.
Albert helps new and prospective Agents focus on the important things, so they too can be successful. He believes, in order to make a professional income you have to act like a professional. “‘Attitude’ plus ‘effort’ equals ‘results’, not the other way around,” Albert advises. He tells people considering joining AIL, “You need to have an internal drive that stems from who you want to help in your life rather than what you want to buy – income is a side effect of helping people.”
