About Jamison Weatherspoon
After working as an architectural/structural design engineer for seven years on commercial projects, Jamison Weatherspoon took the plunge and changed careers, joining American Income Life Insurance Company. What attracted him to AIL? “It was the ability to grow with no limitations. I wanted to make an income that is commensurate with what I am worth. I wanted to succeed based on my talents, skills and work ethic, not to rely on someone else to build my future.”
Was it the right choice? Remembers Jamison, “Maybe I’m different, but when I decided to come in for the third interview, I was confident that my career would be enhanced by the Company. Attitude is the only obstacle that can hold you back from financial prosperity.”
Obviously, Jamison’s attitude has been the right one. In 2008, he was the #17 individual producing Agent for the year and the #2 Supervising Agent in the Company. He was listed in March 2009 Spotlight as a Top General Agent and in July and August 2010 Spotlight as a Top Managing General Agent.
What has been most rewarding for him about American Income Life? “The gift of having the ability to help and mentor others while at the same time, providing a great quality of life for my family.”
Does he have any advice for others thinking about joining AIL? “Be ready for an amazing life change. Don’t ‘dabble in the water’ but ‘jump in’ and give 100 percent to this business, and the business will give you 150 percent back. Be dumb enough to listen and smart enough to implement.”
Jamison is a family man. “My interests are in my family … my wife, my two daughters, and my dog. Nothing is better than the time I spend with my four girls!” Jamison is also a supporter of Northview Church.
