A message from American Institute of Dermatology, P.A. regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Dear Patients,
Please be advised that our offices are being abundantly cautious given the recent developments of COVID-19. We are closely monitoring the situation to keep our patients and employees safe during this time:
- Our exam rooms are cleaned and disinfected after every patient encounter. Our workstations are cleaned daily and we have increased the frequency of cleaning of common areas.
- Our employees continue to adhere to OSHA and CDC protocols to prevent the spread of viruses and other diseases.
- We are screening all employees that may be experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection (fever, runny nose, cough, headache or sore throat) and requiring them to stay home.
- The seating capacity of our waiting rooms has been reduced to ten people as recommended by CDC. After check-in in the office, patients will have the option to wait in their vehicles and receive a text message when we are ready to bring them directly into an exam room.
- We are screening all patients that may be experiencing symptoms of a respiratory infection (fever, runny nose, cough, headache or sore throat) to reschedule their appointments. No-show fees will not be charged, but the courtesy of a call is greatly appreciated.
We will continue to observe guidelines from health agencies and government officials and will keep you up-to-date regarding any changes to our operations.
Sincerely,
American Institute of Dermatology, P.A.
