#ATDWAlumni Sarah Buscaino is a working professionally and attended Marymount Manhattan College after graduating from ATDW as a member of our Theater Dance Rep Co. : As I take a moment to trace my career back to its roots, I find myself in the halls of ATDW. 10 years spent in an environment that nurtured my talents and challenged my weaknesses. Each teacher demonstrated immense care in my development as an artist and as a human. It is this exact combination that served me and guided me as I navigated college, and eventually my professional career. As a dancer, I have the technique and versatility to set me apart, and the ability to pick up choreography swiftly and inclusive of detail. As a singer, I am able to share my voice confidently with attention to dynamics. And as an actor, I am able to become the character while not losing my sense of self. ATDW alone gifted me with all of these beautiful things to take with me to college. Without my training there, I would not have been able to step into my power as an artist and as a human. ATDW gave me the leg up I didn’t know I needed. #thankyou
