Amy Cook is a cardiology nurse practitioner at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her master of science in nursing from Belmont University in 2007. She practiced at Vanderbilt University Medical Center specializing in urgent care until 2011. She moved to Charleston in 2011 and has worked with the division of cardiology at the Medical University of South Carolina since that time. Amy has special expertise in the management of cardiac arrhythmias. She takes care of adult patients with supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), Wolf-Parkinson-White (WPW), atrial fibrillation (AF), as well as premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) and ventricular tachycardia (VT).
