It is our honor to pay tribute to the life of Clyde Anderson – owner and eternal caretaker of Anderson’s Seed & Garden . He passed away this week at the amazing age of 91. It was his joy in life to work in his garden, to help others find success in their gardens, and to bring happiness to others through song and music. We’ll always remember him hurrying home from a long day helping others at the store to move the water in the garden & pick a few tomatoes before running out to a performance with his Barbershop Quartet the Kingsman. He loved telling stories about his experiences in the Army during the Korean War, playing softball with all his rivals (who were some of his best friends), his favorite place in the world to fish (Montana) and how proud he was of all his children and children. It fills our hearts to know that he – again - is FINALLY out singing songs, pitching softball, hearing his favorite musicians perform, falling in the river trying to get that big fish, getting his fingers dirty working in the soil, working up a hard sweat and sharing all the produce he could grow with others. Thanks Clyde, for all that you did for us, your children, family and co-workers, and everyone that you touched with your generous heart.
