Andrew Boyle, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist who has a special interest in advanced heart failure including mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. He is a national leader in the field of mechanical circulatory support and has either participated in or had a leadership role in many of the national trials in this field. He completed medical school at the University of Ottawa in Canada followed by internal medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic and both cardiology and heart failure and transplantation fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic. He is a member of the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation and the Heart Failure Society of America.
