Andrew began a career in real estate in 2003 when he unwittingly bought his first 'investment' home: a small duplex in Donelson/Nashville. Having just finished college at Trevecca Nazarene University, he lived there with his wife while attending Vanderbilt Divinity School. In 2004 he would graduate with a masters from the University and meanwhile had rehabbed or invested in 4 homes, and sold 8 million dollars in real estate.
For the next 5 years Andrew served as a pastor at Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene and practiced real estate and real estate investing.
In 2011, with a third child on the way and the real estate market still down, Andrew took a leap of faith and concentrated his efforts in real estate sales. He left his part-time ministry position, exited property management and brought on a part-time assistant, Holly Vennum. In 2012 his efforts paid off and Andrew was awarded the silver status with Eastern Middle Tennessee board of Realtors. Year to date in 2013, Andrew has gone gold selling over 5 million and might hit platinum, 10 million.
For a period in 2013, under the tutelage of Gary Soloway, Andrew joined Sunbelt Business Brokers. As Sunbelt Nashville's licensed Realtor, Andrew focused on "real estate heavy" business transactions.
Currently Andrew is focusing on residential real estate and commercial in the vein of church sales, and spends time managing Nashville's most caring and passionate three person real estate team including Holly Vennum and Luke Howell.
During his career Andrew founded the nonprofit HipDonelson in 2010 to better the well-being of the Donelson community. HipDonelson exemplifies the real driving passion in everything Andrew does. Whether selling homes, business, or connecting people Andrew's singular passion is to broker relationships in order to make the world a better place.
