Introduction to Mr. Dutton and His Services
Mr. Dutton is an attorney admitted to practice law by the State of New York (registration number 4117750). He also is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (New York Chapter) and the New York State Bar Association. Before he came to the United States, Mr. Dutton qualified as a Barrister in England and practiced law in London.
As immigration law is federal in nature, it applies in the same way throughout the United States. Attorneys need only be a member of one state bar in order to represent immigration clients all over the United States. Consequently, Mr. Dutton has clients who live all over the country and throughout the world.
Mr. Dutton's law practice focuses exclusively on U.S. immigration law. He has considerable experience in handling the following types of nonimmigrant (temporary status) cases: B-1/B-2 visitor, F-1 student, J-1 exchange visitor, H-1B temporary worker, K-1 fiancee, K-3 spouse, L-1 intracompany transferee and O-1 alien with extraordinary ability. Mr. Dutton also has considerable experience with employment-based and family-based immigration cases as well as with U.S. naturalization cases.
His clients are diverse in nature: over the last decade, he has worked with many thousands of individuals, small start-up companies, medium-sized companies, multinational corporations, major regional hospitals - and even government agencies. Mr. Dutton has developed particular expertise with the immigration of physicians, I.T. professionals, professors and individuals with extraordinary ability.
Unlike many other attorneys, he does not take cases in several different areas of law. Thus, Mr. Dutton has developed a high level of expertise with these cases: he has advised on, prepared, and filed, thousands of cases with the Department of Labor, U.S.C.I.S. and U.S. consular posts throughout the world. His professional, well-trained office staff enable him to complete application papers within hours of receiving all of the information and documents he requests from clients.
