Dr Andrew Hiller specializes in orthopedic sports medicine including knee and shoulder surgery, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, arthroscopic rotator cuff and labral repairs, total & reverse shoulder replacement, minimally invasive anterior hip replacement, hip arthroscopy, cartilage restoration, and comprehensive sports medicine and orthopedic trauma.
Dr. Hiller was born in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan. He was a distinguished scholar/athlete at the Detroit Country Day School, graduating with awards and letters in academics, football and lacrosse. Dr. Hiller graduated with honors from Northwestern University and received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital where he gained comprehensive surgical experience in complex orthopedic trauma and general orthopedics. Following residency, Dr. Hiller completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, and Reconstruction at the renowned Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) in Los Angeles, CA. Throughout his training, Dr. Hiller has maintained a keen interest in sports medicine and has worked along with numerous team physicians including those associated with the University of Miami Hurricanes (NCAA), Miami Marlins (MLB), ASA Miami Junior College, and LA Valley Junior College.
