Andrew Maleson, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology, graduated from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He stayed on at Stony Brook to complete an internship in Internal Medicine and residency training in Diagnostic Radiology. Subsequently, he underwent subspecialty fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. Following a yearlong stint in private practice, he returned to Stony Brook and was appointed to the medical staff. He has been with the Department of Radiology since 2014 and specializes in Vascular and Interventional Radiology, with special interests in Interventional Oncology, Palliative Interventions, Uterine Fibroid Embolization, and a wide variety of other minimally invasive percutaneous and endovascular procedures.
