Keaveny, M.D., is a gastroenterologist (transplant hepatologist) with the Liver Transplant Program within the Transplant Center at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He is the medical director of the Mayo Clinic Florida Liver Transplant Program. His primary clinical interests include the assessment and management of patients with cirrhosis, management of the liver transplant recipient, application of noninvasive testing of liver fibrosis and the treatment of viral hepatitis. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Keaveny collaborates with the multidisciplinary liver transplant team in developing treatment pathways and policies that provide optimal patient care.
