If a puppy has a skin infection it could hinder closure if the incision site and stress like surgery could make infections worse. We want to make sure our patients are as healthy as possible before going into surgery.

So cute and we just wanna #boopthesnoot , Dodger came in for some sedated orthopedic radiographs. Ortho rads require specific positioning and often require sedation so this can be achieved. It makes it less stressful for the patients and staff as long as they are otherwise healthy like this boy!

This little chickpea is with Brooklyn Animal Action. Simon was found on Sunday when the snow was really starting to fall. They took him to Verg to get stabilized, and then he came to us to continue supportive care.
Simon has cerebellar hypoplasia which means he is a bit wobbly when he tries to move. People call it the wobbly cat syndrome. It won’t go away but with the proper family he will live a happy healthy life.
