COVID-19 update: As medical professionals and public health officers and in our best efforts to follow the current CDC recommendations, we respectfully ask that if you have any symptoms of illness please refrain from bringing in your pets. If you have a serious medical concern about your pet and you are ill, please notify our staff and we will guide you appropriately. We want to continue to provide care for our wonderful patients, but we need your assistance to keep our staff and doctors healthy in order to do so. You may also see some additional measures being put in place at the clinic such as maintaining a safe distance when taking a history, taking animals in back for treatment/vaccinations/etc, we may also be scheduling less staff at a time in order to attempt to avoid exposure to the whole clinic all at one, so may have more limited appointments. We appreciate your understanding. Please know that these measures are being put in place for your and our protection. Thank you so much and we will post updates/changes as they occur.

COVID-19 update: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all our wonderful clients for your cooperation, understanding and support during this unprecedented time in our world! Please continue to be patient as we navigate this phase of the pandemic. As much as it upsets and pains us, we may not be able to get everyone in for same day appointments, we may have to reschedule wellness appointments or elective procedures now and then, and we may need to refer more critically ill patients to local emergency clinics. We are truly doing our best to be able to care for all of our adorable patients, but at times we may be experiencing staffing restrictions due to COVID exposures, pending tests and quarantines. Please know that we are doing our ABSOLUTE best to keep our staff, doctors, and clients healthy and safe. Thank you so very much for your understanding!!

Why has my veterinarian been SO busy?
As the weather gets colder, mice like to make their way into the house. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! We have had 5 cases of dogs getting into these baits in the past few weeks. Bromethalin is a nasty neurotoxin!! There is no antidote and once signs begin, the prognosis for recovery is very guarded. Please think twice when putting any mouse baits out, use a professional exterminator, or at least be absolutely sure there is NO way your pets can get into these or any mouse baits. Along those lines, if you have moved recently, check all over for baits that may have been left behind. We love your pets and want to help keep them healthy!
