One of our local pediatricians, that is near and dear to my kids, is going through a tough time. Dr Lisa Miller is battling cancer, and true to her nature, she wants to focus on the children. September is childhood cancer awareness month. She has asked that we raise money for Cure, a non-profit that supports childhood cancer research. Animal Medical of Covington will be donating a portion of our sales this Friday and next Friday to Cure in Dr. Lisa Miller’s name. Please come by and help us raise as much money as possible for childhood cancer research.

We want to introduce our new groomers. Hannah, left, and Jessica, right, come to us with years of experience. They are bringing their unique styles and abilities to our new grooming facility. If your pet needs a cut or bath, schedule an appointment today.
We were very fortunate to have one of our special patients, Kristoff, model for us. Thanks for the great pictures.
The doctor and staff at Animal Medical of Covington want to wish everyone a happy Independence Day. We will see you again on Monday.
We want to thank everyone for their patience. The phones are back up and ringing.
We are sorry for any inconvenience, but one of our phone lines is down. We are still able to receive calls on one line. It may take us a minute to answer. Please call our cell phone at 770-361-9422 if you can not reach us. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
We are growing! Animal medical has hired a second full-time groomer. We would like to welcome Hannah to the AMC family.
Hopefully this will assist with those much needed haircuts for your furbabies.

If you passed by the clinic this am, you saw our good City of Covington Fire Department. One of the staff’s car caught fire behind the clinic. All is good and no damage was done (except the car) and most importantly no one was injured. All two legged staff and four legged fur babies are safe and unharmed. Just a little excitement to start the week!
Our Dr. Lisa Miller days raised $1300 for CURE childhood cancer.
United we fight childhood cancer. United we fight breast cancer.
Found this on our pumpkin plant outside. Thanks to the person who left this. #IFAQH

So which movies are your favorite? I’m partial to A Christmas Story.
Our elf is back and he brought a friend. Stay tuned for more adventures.
X marks the spot. Come see us to make sure your fur babies are healthy and doing well.
Even Bernie needs a haircut and style for Christmas. Call and schedule a grooming appointment for you furry friends.
The mischievous duo have knocked down Linda’s tree. Be careful with the pets and Christmas trees, our pets, and elves, are very curious about the lights and glittery ornaments.
House not smelling festive enough? Check out our candles. They work wonderfully to make your house smell great.
Enough said. We have all been the beneficiaries of the upset tummy when our fur babies get into food they shouldn’t.
I was honored to be able to attend the ribbon cutting for the new animal shelter. They have done a fabulous job. Congratulations Newton County Animal Control.

That elf and pup are full of themselves. They can’t get enough of their story.
This service was awesome. Your adopted pet was spayed or neutered at no cost to the adopting family. I hope this increase will cover the cost of the service, and the record number of adoptions will continue. Great job Newton County Animal Control.
