πWE ARE OPEN!π
It is more important than ever to take care of your oral health. Many systemic diseases are linked or actually caused by, oral infection and inflammation. These include: Heart Disease, Diabetes, Cancer, Lung Disease, and more. Allow us to help keep you as healthy as possible and you not only will improve the quality of your life, but have the best chance of fighting any bacterial or viral challenge which comes your way, including COVID 19.
Your safety has always been a top priority. We always met and exceeded all local, state and federal guidelines for infection control; however, the Coronavirus is a more challenging foe. We have implemented several technologies to protect our patients, team and doctor from aerosol infection.
The ADS extraoral Suction Unit removes 99.99% of bacteria and virus down to 0.003 microns. It has two Hepa filters and a UV light.
Volume 90%
Isolite Intraoral Suction System utilizes a continuous high-volume suction reducing aerosols escaping from the mouth by 90%.
In addition to the above all patients rinse with an antiviral solution before any dental procedure.
Here are our Protocols:
β
We avoid having any two patients in the same space at the same time by having patients wait in their car until being invited in by a team member. Also, companions are asked to wait outside unless their presence is medically necessary.
β
All patients, team and doctor are screened with a no touch thermometer and for relevant medical history.
β
All team members wear appropriate, PPE, personal protective equipment, as per CDC and ADA guidelines. Patients are also required to wear a mask when entering and leaving the treatment area.
β
Only essential equipment and supplies are in the treatment room as everything in the treatment room during a procedure is considered contaminated. Most equipment and surfaces are covered with disposables in addition to meticulous disinfection.
β
Due to our efforts to minimize infection transmission patients are asked to refrain from using mobile phones, are draped with fresh capes and dental bibs.
β
We have installed a plexiglass barrier in front of our reception desk.
β
Our autoclaves are spore tested weekly by an independent University based laboratory to ensure proper sterilization.
β
We have closed water systems for our handpieces and syringes in which we place steam distilled water. The water lines are disinfected daily. We also have a high-quality water filtering system for all tap water that enters our office.
The best way to beat the Corona Virus at present is to wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, social distance, and see your dentist and medical professionals at prescribed intervals to stay as healthy as possible!
Stay safe and hope to see you soon!

Dear Patients,
We hope that this letter finds you and your family well. We can all agree that this has been a challenging Spring.
Governor Wolf is beginning to lighten the restrictions on the practice of dentistry in Pennsylvania. In preparation for re-opening, Dr. G. and team have worked diligently to keep up with the latest guidelines for safe practices issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Dental Association.
Your safety has always been our top priority. We always met and exceeded all local, state and national standards for infection control; however, the Coronavirus is a more challenging foe. You will see many physical changes in the office, as well as, very stringent protocols and the very latest in COVID-19 protective wear for the entire team.
Space will not permit the complete listing of measures we have instituted to protect our patients and team. We are happy to address your questions and concerns, and we look forward to providing you with the skilled dental care that you have come to know and trust.
Warm regards,
Dr. Anna and Team
Every Cloud has a Silver Lining
I've been screening my patients for signs of sleep apnea for some time because it is so important to identify this serious disorder and treat as soon as possible. Obstructive sleep apnea not only robs sufferers of energy and well-being, oxygen deprivation affects every organ of the body. Memory loss, early Alzheimer's, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, and even death are linked to obstructive sleep apnea.
If you have been delaying a consult with a Sleep Specialist due to scheduling challenges, there may be a silver lining in the COVID quarantine cloud. I work closely with Dr. Neil Mushlin, a respected Pulmonologist and Board-Certified Sleep Specialist. He recently approached me about offering my patients a way to be evaluated without leaving their home. Via telemedicine you can be evaluated, have a sleep test mailed to your home, follow the very simple instructions (I did one; it was easy!), and then send it back to Dr. Mushlin to read and evaluate. He will virtually meet with you to discuss his diagnosis and treatment plan. (Saving you 4 Visits!)
If one or more of the following plagues you or a loved one you may have obstructive sleep apnea: snoring, wake up tired, doze easily when reading or watching TV, have AM headaches, high blood pressure, A-Fib, heart burn, a neck measurement over 16" for a woman or 17" for a man, suffer from depression or anxiety.
Please call me for details, 484-430-4626 (Between 9AM & 5PM only).
