As a board-certified emergency physician, Annada K Das MD, FACEP, has extensive experience in treating the full range of injuries and diseases in adults, ranging from young adulthood through geriatric care. In his private practice in Brooklyn, New York, he serves as a primary care physician providing annual physicals, urgent care, minor surgery, and ongoing management of chronic diseases.
Dr. Das graduated from Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, India, then received his medical degree from the University of the State of New York in New York City. He’s a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
For more than three decades, Dr. Das has provided comprehensive patient care at Brighton Beach Medical Practice. His experience includes teaching trauma life support and developing protocols for drug detoxification.
Dr. Das has served as an attending physician at New York Community Hospital and held positions as staff and supervising physician in emergency departments. He’s currently the Associate Chairman of Emergency Services at Coney Island Hospital and the Director of Emergency Services at New York Community Hospital.
His dedication to continuously improving patient care is seen in his membership in the Island Peer Review Organization (IPRO), a non-profit organization that helps implement innovative programs that ensure patients receive high quality and appropriate health care.
