Anna’s Fire delivers fresh fare with a “Midwestern Healthy™” emphasis. While not to the extreme one might see in what could be termed “California Healthy”, there is an emphasis, from food preparation to ingredients used, to address concerns for those who are thinking healthy and/or have dietary restrictions.
The hearthstone (“brick”) oven cooking at 600 to 700 degrees allows for item to be roasted instead of deep fried. So the restaurant will not have a deep fryer. We will be a “peanut free zone”, certified as a green restaurant (the first in Lake County), use fat reduced cheeses, free range chicken and grass fed beef. We will also have gluten free options. Most breads will be baked in house daily. Please note, we will be closed Mondays this fall and winter.
