Dr. Armstrong completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Presbyterian/Montefiore, after earning her medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
She was a National Medical Fellow in Ghana, West Africa. She served on a mission team caring for Haitian migrant workers, volunteering her skills and time to provide help where medical expertise is limited.
