CLOSED FROM MARCH 20TH-MAY 1ST Dear Anniston Foot Care Center Patients and Friends: We appreciate your continued support amid the COVID-19 or coronavirus pandemic. As always, we are committed to serving our patients and their families with excellence; therefore, we will be closing our office starting Friday, March 20th. Currently, we plan to open our office on Monday, April 6th. This is however an unpredictable situation that we will continue to monitor, and we request your continued patience and understanding during this time. The decision to close our office was made following the strong recommendations and orders by our public officials and local government, as well as the American Podiatric Medical Associations and as Alabama Podiatric Medical Association’s recommendations. Per the Department of Public Health guidelines, we are unable to physically see patients at this time, except for true podiatric emergencies of current, active patients only. The continued safety of our patients, their families, and our entire staff and their families is so very important to us. Thank you for your continued trust and support of us for your podiatric needs. Dr. Timothy W. Stremmel, DPM and staff
👣 Happy Tuesday, everyone! Our office will be closed today due to the threat of inclement weather. Everyone stay safe and enjoy time with family. We will be back in the office on Wednesday, January 30th. 👣
A letter to our Diabetics: Dear Diabetics, we want you to stay safe this winter. Please adhere to a few very important rules: 1.) Do NOT place your feet near sources of warmth. This includes radiators, heating blankets, hot towels, fireplaces, hot watter bottles, etc. This may cause severe burns to the skin followed by infections and a long recovery time and/or in severe cases may cause amputations to toes or limbs. 2.) Do NOT take HOT showers or soak your feet in hot water. Water temperature should be less than 92 degree F. Check the water with your hand or use a water thermometer. 3.) Wear warm socks instead and always wear good, supportive shoes, like your diabetic shoes. Please stay safe this winter. Remember: Prevention is the best medicine.
