With more than 30 years of experience and certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Wakim is a prominent infertility specialist who evaluates and treats all types of reproductive problems and offers a wide range of innovative treatment for both male and female infertility.
Dr. Wakim earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon, and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. He advanced his knowledge and expertise with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Wakim is a member of the Society of Reproductive Endocrinologists, Endocrine Society, American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American Medical Association, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology.
He has published more than 70 articles and abstracts on reproductive endocrinology and infertility treatments. He serves as associate program director of the fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Allegheny General Hospital.
He has medical staff privileges at West Penn Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital.
