Hey all this is Kim owner of Anthony Peter's! Just a quick message to you! Our salon has been operating following ALL CDC guidelines from DAY ONE. Guests do not enter unless temp is taken etc....partitions etc. Also full service laundry where EVERYTHING is washed after each guest. I have a company sanitizing CONSTANTLY, along with sanitizing after each and every guest. We always want everyone to feel like they are in a safe environment. I must say we have been busier than ever with ALL protocols in place. ALWAYS. With this i feel the need to also say, if you are uncomfortable being out, or unsure of your safety, don't leave the house. 😁 Please don't send an anonymous letter on how YOU think it should be, we are working WITH THE CDC. Also consider the FINANCIAL aspect of being closed for 3 months has put everybody back financially. We have done everything we are supposed to do, and will keep doing so. On that note There is a reason for me posting this and please understand. We all love and adore ALL of clients and will continue to keep you safe and healthy. Love to you all, Kim❤

I’m sick to death of people going on these public forums and bashing hairstylists.
I don’t care what salon you choose... boujee or budget.
These stylists are doing their best to make you feel better about how you view yourself: to boost your confidence and brighten YOUR day. Sometimes it doesn’t always work out. I get it.
The root word in stylist is STYLE,
It’s a craft. A form of art. A way of doing something.
Experience comes into play,
Experience in millions of techniques and approaches.
I HAVE SEEN STYLISTS SLAYYYY A LOOK AND GET BLASTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND TURN AROUND AND SEE SOME THINGS THAT DONT TICKLE MY TECHNICAL FANCY AND THE CLIENT IS OVER JOYED!
We sell perspective. Something that only exists between the client’s imagination transferred to the stylist’s brain and ultimately fingertips.
WE DEPEND ON RETENTION FOR SURVIVAL. Which means... we depend on you to come back. We all want you to come back to us! Why would anyone mess up your hair on purpose?
It’s not a personal attack so don’t throw stones at someone who came to work and left their kids/fur babies/husband/wife to attempt to make you happy and didn’t jump high enough for you.
I’m saying this for everyone out there who needs to hear it.
I receive poor customer service from big box stores and places and I would never call out a name, and they are corporate places that make millions of dollars a day! Lol
Meanwhile people are making it a mission to destroy a booth renters livelihood because you didn’t like a highlight. Give me a break.
These men and women are trying to make you love their art and make you feel good in the process. Smh
I’m saying this as a stylist and a boss.
I walk in everyday and witness about 3 mental breakdowns from fellow stylists because they are so concerned that it’s not 189% perfect. So they stew around and bend over backwards. Because they want to do their best for everyone.
I’m sure it’s this way at every place.
Some lose sleep over this! Like makes them sick at the possibility of someone being not 100% satisfied. Myself Included.
If you see this behavior, please I employ you to call them out. It’s unacceptable to try and ruin a person dreams because 1 time you weren’t happy. And say: IM TELLING EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO GO TO YOU! ... my question is, why would you do something like that? Why would you want to hurt a person’s process of becoming better because you didn’t like the outcome of 1 visit? Why would you publicly humiliate another human being and spend all that energy crushing someone’s confidence? Ask yourself: will this help someone try harder or listen more? I don’t think so.
I’m not complaining, rather believe this is an issue I see too often. I’ve witnessed stylist become physically sick. However the only thing they can do is keep building and trying. Learning everyday to be better. That’s why they came to work.
To everyone else, I want to express my gratitude. You are the people who uplift others and without you, we would not be able to do what we love every day.

Change is among us!!! Feeling so positive! The salon is doing amazing despite this pandemic. FINALLY!!!
