Here we have a hand made desk (c)1940. We got it from the granddaughter of the man that made it. It was in pretty bad shape when we got it so we had to put a little work into it. (c)1880 Eastlake bookshelf / knick knack shelf. Converted from an old beat up organ we had in storage. Beautiful spoon carved walnut side panels. Scroll cut backsplash with mirror backing. Our featured item of the week is this (c) 1900’ tiger oak side board. This piece is truly unique. Featuring winged griffins on either side of the large 2” beveled mirrored back, deep carvings of GreenMen on the front of the drawers and lower cabinets. Velvet lined silverware drawer. The wood comes from the Black Forest of Germany 🇩🇪 but made in America. The craftsmanship on this piece is unmatched. The Pin and Cove dovetails on the drawers is an American style starting in 1880 as the beginning of the industrial revolution took hold of mass manufacturing in the US. This was $8500.
