Grigory Goldberg M.D. is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in Spine surgery. Dr. Goldberg received his B.A. with honors from the New York University, and went on to complete his medical degree at the State University of New York Medical School. Dr. Goldberg completed both his internship and residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, in Philadelphia. Dr. Goldberg has finished his training in Spine surgery with the prestigious Leatherman Spine Institute.
Dr. Goldberg has authored various book chapters concerning the treatment methods of various spine disorders and has published and presented extensively in the field of spinal surgery and joint
replacement.
Dr. Goldberg has interest in all aspects of spine surgery including degenerative diseases of the cervical and lumbar spine, tumors, fractures, infections and scoliosis. He has had extensive experience in the field of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and Motion Preserving Spine Surgery.
Dr. Goldberg treats all aspects of spine problems including degenerative diseases of the neck and back, sciatica pain, arm pain, scoliosis, tumors, and revision of back and neck.
Dr. Goldberg’s goals are to restore the patient back to the functioning level using the most current treatment options that are available. The emphasis is always placed on the non-surgical treatment options before any surgery is considered. Dr. Goldberg works with other spine specialists in the community, such as pain management doctors, neurologists, physical therapists and chiropractors to maximize the success of the non-operative treatment. Surgical options are considered only when everything else has failed.
