Good Evening Appleville Family! Appleville will be closed tomorrow, but we will be opening back up on Wednesday Nov. 12th at 9:30 am and closing at 5:00 pm. COVID-19 won't stop our fun! Taking our annual Fall Festival indoors was a most memorable occasion! We had a blast capturing our friends in their costumes; and boy were they excited too!
Appleville Academy would also like to wish Ms. Olivia a very happy birthday!! Ms. Olivia is a wonderful hands on teacher, who can always be found laughing, playing, and instilling character value in her students.

Here's a peek into what makes learning fun here at Appleville!
Did you know that puzzles teach young children:
1.) Physical skills from holding the pieces and turning them until they fit.
2.) Cognitive skills that teach them to solve the problems of a puzzle.
3.) Emotional skills as they learn patience and are rewarded with self and/or peer and teacher praise as they complete the puzzle.
In essence, puzzles teach young children about the concept of a 'whole' and that each piece is a fraction of the bigger picture. It also helps develop basic skills such as shape recognition, concentration, goal setting, patience and a sense of achievement, which will position children in early childhood for good success in grade school.
By far the cutest elf we've ever seen!!! We're happy when they're smiling!

Extra! Extra!!! Read all about it!!! Appleville Academy has great news. We are elated to announce, that in Spring 2021, we will be expanding to a second location in Greensboro, North Carolina; and we are equally excited to share that renovations began on this past Monday!
As we just cannot contain our joy of growth, we will keep you updated of progress through virtual tours, as well as, the grand opening date! Oh, and don't you worry, the location will be revealed soon!
