Our dedication to providing you with a safe environment is vitally important to all of us, as we have defined our cleaning and safety standards in light of COVID-19.
ATJC is so happy to announce the soft opening of our dining room! Beginning today, our St. Marlo’s dining room is back in business for lunch with just a few new, special touches. Residents were escorted to the dining room for their meal and greeted by a hostess with hand sanitizer and disposable menus. Paper bags were available to keep face masks clean during mealtime and our dining room was fully sanitized before, after, and between lunch groups. Our new layout meets all social distancing guidelines, while still allowing our Residents to converse with each other. Food was delicious and Residents and Staff alike were all happy to be out and about and enjoying mealtime with friends again.

Happy Veterans Day from ATJC!
As we maneuver COVID we cannot always celebrate in the ways we used to, but we couldn't let this special day go by without honoring our veteran residents. It was so wonderful to gather our veterans and to celebrate their service and achievements! ATJC is proud to be the home of veterans from the US Army, Navy, and Air Force, as well as a service member from the Italian Army.
Each veteran received a certificate of appreciation, lapel pin, a Veterans Day card made by students at Myers Elementary, and a donation in his or her name to Wounded Warrior Project. We'd like to offer thanks to Cindy Slater in Engagement for baking an American flag cake for us to enjoy as we celebrated, and to Desert Storm veteran and GBI Special Agent Michael Pearson for awarding the certificates.
ATJC wishes a happy Veterans Day to our veteran residents, their families, and all who have served! Thank you for your courage, dedication, and service.
