About the Practice
The Arizona Institute of Medicine & Surgery (AIMS) was founded by M. Azam Khan, MD, FACS, on April 16, 1994. Today, the practice provides primary care, urgent care, and surgical care to the diverse Mohave County community in Kingman, Arizona.
The practice is the only standalone and physician-owned surgery center in Mohave County that is qualified to administer anesthesia. It has been licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services since 1994 and takes a variety of health insurance plans, such as Medicare and Blue Cross.
The primary care physicians at AIMS provide preventive and comprehensive health care services to all patients. They also prioritize a convenient patient experience. As such, patients can conveniently go online to access electronic medical records, schedule appointments, and pay medical expenses.
AIMS Urgent Care treats non-life threatening injuries and illnesses, such as sinus infections, fractures, stomach viruses, and flu-like symptoms. It also accommodates school physicals and Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals.
AIMS Surgery Center provides advanced procedures such as gastrointestinal surgery, podiatry procedures, hernia repairs, plastic surgery, and laparoscopic gallbladder surgery. They also offer breast cancer treatment, pain management treatment, and dental restorations.
The dedicated staff at AIMS treats patients using the latest and most cutting edge technology.
