Bruising and discoloration near incision are common after surgery. You may notice purple or yellow discoloration on or near the site of the surgical incision, which is not a reason to worry. The bruising fades over time.
When can your child swim after tonsillectomy? It varies from case to case. However, in general, your child should be able to swim in two to three weeks following the operation.
Newborn babies should produce urine at least every 6 to 8 hours. In fact, this is a good sign that he or she is healthy. A baby that does not wet his or her diapers within this time frame is not getting enough fluids and can be prone to the dangers of dehydration.
