Ark Angels offers a Christian curriculum for today's children, featuring hands-on activities sure to keep young minds engaged, exploring, playing and learning. Our facility offers one preparatory class for each age group, allowing us to extend one on one attention to each child and personal service to every family.
Ark Angels Christian Preschool is an APPLE Accredited, Florida Gold Seal preschool in Crystal River Florida. We're open from 6:15 am to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Each Ark Angels staff member is trained in Early Childhood Education and shares the love of teaching young children. Teachers are screened and approved by the Florida Department of Children and Families, which includes a national FBI check. They have mastered their 40 hour DCF training, have completed their Child Development Credential, hold current CPR and first aid credentials, and engage in 30 hours of professional training per year.
Our services include child care and preschool for children 6 weeks through 12 years old. Our curriculum is approved by Florida's Office of Early Learning and is based on hands-on, child directed activities. We prepare children for kindergarten through fun, active play inside the classroom as well as outside on the playground.
We also offer Florida's free Voluntary Pre-K program for four year olds, nutritious meals and snacks at no cost to our families, summer camp for school-age children, and free transportation to and from local elementary schools.
Our mission is to prepare each child for kindergarten and to show Christ's love for each child and their family. We are not affiliated with a local church, nor do we teach a particular doctrine. We simply teach children about Jesus' love for them through bible stories, songs, and staff interaction.
