CONGRATULATIONS to Edduin Casanova, owner of Casanova's Handyman. He's searched for the egg for years and just happened to see it this year while he was doing work for a restaurant in the area. The egg was behind Main Street Tavern at the base of an air conditioning unit.

Did you know that today is National Squirrel Appreciation Day? While squirrels are still considered members of the rodent family, we thought it would be fun to throw them some nuts and reasons they should be be "appreciated"!
* Squirrels plant seeds (initially meaning to store away nuts to come back to when they’re hungry) which eventually grow into trees, thus assisting with forest renewal. They’re natures gardeners!
* Squirrels were first introduced to parks in 1847 to beautify and add interest. They are fun to watch!
* They are notorious best friends! In 1959, Rocket J. 'Rocky' Squirrel, the plucky flying squirrel, is introduced to The Bullwinkle Show and lasts five years as the best friend and ally of the Western moose, Bullwinkle. The duo is still going strong in Geico commercials.
