Esther de Chantal Bikoi, DDS, skillfully merges the art and science of dentistry and revolutionizes the dental experience at Artistic Family Dentistry of Silver Spring in Silver Spring, Maryland. She specializes in general, cosmetic, emergency, and restorative dentistry, and serves men, women, and children of all ages.
Dr. Bikoi treats TMJ, teeth grinding, and a range of dental problems, from infected tooth pulp to cavities. She also offers cleanings, Invisalign®, dental implants, crowns, and denture fittings. Dr. Bikoi is exceptionally skilled at performing tooth extractions and other oral surgeries, and minimally invasive rejuvenation dentistry.
In 2000, Dr. Bikoi moved to the U.S. on a scholarship for a clinical restorative dentistry internship at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. After six months of training, she worked as a dental and surgical assistant. She graduated with her dental surgery doctorate in 2012 from Loma Linda University. She’s completed two continuing education programs: an 18-month residency in minimally invasive dentistry and occlusion, and a one-year externship in implant dentistry.
Active in her field, Dr. Bikoi is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Bikoi is a registered Zentistry™ practitioner and trained under the direct supervision of the prestigious founder of Zentistry, Dr. Sonny Oliva, and his innovative Sensory Remodeling Principles. Dr. Bikoi carefully uses scientifically based principles to diminish fear and anxiety, enhance patient comfort and relaxation, and create a more positive, well-rounded dental experience that fosters dental health and wellness.
Dr. Bikoi develops comprehensive treatment plans and takes time to educate patients on how to optimize oral health and hygiene. She remains abreast of the latest dental advances and innovations, and provides 3D X-rays, intraoral scanners, nitrous oxide sedation, laser dentistry, and more.
