$500.00 CASH REWARD OFFERED!! HELP STOP A THIEF!!
Around 12:30pm on Tuesday, August 25th, the man pictured below came to Asheville Hwy Rental at 1101 Asheville Hwy in Spartanburg, SC and rented our brand new John Deere Z930M zero turn mower with tweel wheels and one of our 5’x10’ trailers. The man has not returned our mower, phone number isn’t in service, and we have confirmed his drivers license is fake.
The man can be seen wearing black pants, a black t-shirt with Clemson Tigers written on the front, and a what appear to be waterproof rubber boots. He is also wearing a surgical mask at all times, but our staff believes the photo on the fake license is an actual photo of his face. The thief was driving a UHaul box truck with the UHaul ID#: DC 3801 U on it.
AHR is working with local Spartanburg authorities to apprehend the criminals. But AHR is also offering a $500 Cash Reward for information leading to the arrest of this man and the return of our stolen mower and trailer!!

UPDATE: The thief also seems to have stolen the U-Haul truck from the Cheapway #10 U-Haul dealership in North Charleston on August 21st. Please help us catch this dispicable person!! You may be his next victim!!

MOWER RECOVERED AND THIEF WHOSE REAL NAME IS VICTOR SMITH ARRESTED!! Props to Wayne County NC Sheriff Dept. after a 15 mile high speed chase the thief was caught and our mower recovered......now we gotta drive like 5 hrs to go get it. 😕. Our stolen utility trailer was not recovered so please be on the lookout for it still. Unfortunately Mr. Smith bonded out soon as he was caught. I am told He has been arrested multiple times since November for like larceny, credit card fraud, identity theft, etc. He also already stole and sold a bobcat loader from a rental store in Johns Island SC to someone in NC for $14,000 cash I found out, So be vigilant should you come across him at your rental stores!!
