Interior Design requires the ability to juggle many things at one time. Between working directly with the homeowners, each one of the trades on the project, the behind the scenes portions (ya know, paperwork, pricing, hundreds of phone calls and email and so) and more. It takes a lot of love, education and drive! We are so happy we learned how to juggle early on in life! 😉

Part of my photography niche is #interiorphotography. Why though?
Did you know that for YEARS I obsessed over and planned on being an interior designer? I was that 6th grade girl that had sketchbooks full of hand-drawn floor plans, dreaming up the homes I thought I would design one day. I actually attended college for interior design 😵
Because of a number of circumstances, I never finished my degree in interior design but rather grew my photography business.
So here I am now, obsessing over the homes and spaces my clients design, and living vicariously through the photos I take for them 😅

When designing this bedroom, we wanted to give a calm and serene feel. Painting the room a neural and only adding the calming color of blue helped us achieve our vision. We also added a built in where there was an odd nook, making this a more purposeful feature.
Ashleigh is having major jealousy over this kitchen right now. Currently her kitchen is in boxes all over the home and this kitchen is so clean and happy! Soon enough we can share the new one, until then, a girl can dream!
Last week we sat down with Crystal from Phillip Jeffries to discuss wallcovering.
We love to use every inch of space possible when it comes to designing kitchens. Here we had what we refer to as “seasonal storage” on the backside of the island. The doors are made to look like panels and we use touch-latches rather then hardware to conceal the doors even more!
We love how cozy this dining room is for Sunday dinners! The lighting in this space is just right and in the evenings the chandelier gives off the perfect glow.
Don’t forget the karate chop! We love a good pillow, they really can do wonders to a space.
The best compliments we can receive are referrals, clients who use us multiple times and clients who remind us how much they love their home, even after a few years.

This particular project was a favorite as it has many personalized details. What makes it even more of a favorite, is just how much our client still loves her kitchen. We truly appreciate the compliments we still receive and it truly warms our hearts knowing that our design has made someone so happy. It also helps that we have some of the best clients!
We love how the colors and texture perfectly balance out this guest bedroom!

This kitchen makes the perfect space to prep all of the meals and allow everyone to gather around the island!

This dining room came to life with the addition of the wallpaper. We love the smoky abstract mountains and how much depth it provides to the space.

It's no secret that we LOVE adding color to our designs! If you are wanting to add color to your space, but don't want to commit to a bold wallpaper or furniture piece a good way to bring in the color is through your accessories! This gives you the flexibility to test out different colors and patterns and add in another level of dimension and texture to your home.
