Thank you to all our friends, clients and colleagues who have reached out after Hurricane Laura devastated Lake Charles, LA. Our office was damaged, but the 120-year structure is still standing tall. We do not anticipate Lake Charles to have water or power for some time. Our staff is now very well-trained at working remotely, but we appreciate your patience as many staff members have completely lost their homes or are helping family members who lost their homes. Our staff is working to locate safe places to stay and are scattered across the country. We hope to be working remotely and safely by next week.

We are still working (hard!) remotely and doing our best to coordinate with clients from near and far. Lake Charles is a mess. Hello from half of our H-2 Team at Ashley Foret Dees, LLC ! This is the busiest week of the year for our H-2 Team. We could not be at our office at all or making these deadlines work without our new fiber AT&T Internet. Huge, grateful, amazing virtual hug and shoutout to Levar Greenhouse and AT&T for helping us get back up and running in time to meet our many fall deadlines.
We have many seasonal H-2A crawfish workers preparing the enter Louisiana for the upcoming crawfish harvest. We also have many H-2B employers competing for the April 1st H-2B visa lottery and those filings will be submitted to the Dept. of Labor between Jan 1st-3rd (this weekend!).

Thankful for our amazing staff and Great Labor staff (all 13 of us!) who took time out of their busy mornings to clean up our block in downtown Lake Charles. Most of these fine humans were working out of their cars and hotel rooms around the country just a few short months ago. It has only been 7 months since the devastating Hurricane Laura hit Lake Charles. Today we collected dozens of full bags of trash- mostly roof and insulation from area buildings blown around by the hurricane. We love downtown Lake Charles and know it will continue to improve. Thank you to Matt Young for inspiring us to take part 💐🌿. A new day is coming.

These classes are for people moving here from other countries who need to learn the English language. ESL classes meet Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 A.M to 10:00 A.M. & 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. and Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.
