Pumpkins !!!!
We have been seeing so many kids at well visits who are admitting to not wearing their helmets!!! This is so very important—accidents can happen in a split second. Our kids think they are invulnerable—make sure they are protected!
Thank you, Marti, for letting us repost your message ❤️❤️❤️

I will never forget the day I got that call... I will never forget calling my mom, picking her up and how fast I was driving down the freeway... I’ll never forget how scared she was and how she literally never left his bedside.
Today my brother would have been 34.
To share a little of our story... He passed away from a skateboard fall at age 19. He had severe brain damage... had his skull removed for swelling... and was later declared brain dead.
Please share with your children today the importance of wearing a helmet. I know it doesn’t seem “cool” to most kids. However, it could truly save your life. 🎈 Happy Birthday Brother...
Yesterday we did some Team Building at Puzzle Room Reno and had a blast! We love our work family!
Our masks were off for only a second to take the picture! 😷

Aiden, 14, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) toward the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to visitation restrictions, only one parent or caregiver is allowed into the medical center per patient. Every Tuesday while Aiden’s mom joins him in the clinic for cancer treatment, his dad, Chuck, stands outside and dances to lift Aiden’s spirits. Here is a highlight reel of Chuck’s best moves! #erasekidcancer

If you can't do this, you are not ready to be a dad 😂😂😂😂
Good Morning Aspen Pediatrics!
We have added to our family of physicians! We are excited to introduce you to Rotem Elitsur-Fitzpatric MD (Dr. Rotem)!
Dr. Rotem comes to us from Columbus, OH where she worked as an Associate Professor at Nationwide Children’s Hospital until July of 2020. She graduated from Marshall University, Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine in 2012.
Dr. Rotem’s husband, Dr. Sean Fitzpatrick, just finished his fellowship in orthopedics and they both were looking for a forever home where they can raise their three children.
Dr. Sean Fitzpatrick joined the Great Basin Orthopedic family here in Reno, which gave Dr. Rotem the opportunity to join Aspen Pediatrics.
Dr. Rotem loves to travel and explore new cities and countries. She loves outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and tennis. She also loves to cook!
Going into pediatrics was an easy decision for Dr. Rotem since she grew up in a large family. She started babysitting and working with kids early on. In medical school she was always drawn to the pediatric population due to their resilience and overall positive attitude. In residency Dr. Rotem focused on helping children make better and healthier food choices and encouraged them to live a healthier lifestyle.
We are so excited to have Dr. Rotem be apart of our family and your family too!
Today’s the day!! Vote!
Happy Birthday to Dr. Pat!!
Did you know Dr. Krista’s husband is also a doc? Dr. Rick Gonzalez is a family doc and he and his awesome crew are currently taking new patients. The NPs at Peavine Family Practice, Leslie Pace, Lisa Tate, and Karri Burgner, are fantastic! We know that it can be hard for new parents to even think about finding their own doctor—don’t forget to take care of yourselves while you chase that toddler all over the house 😊
Their number is (775) 624-6492
Feel free to share this post!
Dr. Krista’s son sledding in slo-mo! Hope you all are having fun in the snow this beautiful weekend!
Isaac says “Happy Friday!”
Happy Birthday to Ernie! He’s Dr. Mer’s favorite!
Hello Aspen Pediatrics Families!
With this recent snow storm and the projected snow storm arriving later today, we have decided to close the office in the afternoon to ensure that the doctors and staff are able to drive home safely.
Be safe out there and enjoy the snow!
Today is our National Day of Service! In honor of Martin Luther King Jr, let’s do something kind for someone else ❤️❤️❤️
