As a team we have donated $1,565 towards finding a cure to end Alzheimer’s! 👏🏼 Thank you to everyone who joined our team, donated, walked, or helped spread the word! 💜
Check out the photos below from our “purple party” we had with our residents. Each family member sent their loved one a little gift/note to help celebrate the day. We also had a white balloon release ceremony where each resident released a white balloon in honor of there one day being a survivor of Alzheimer’s.
TODAY is our Walk to End Alzheimer’s! 💜 Our management team walked the Prospect Heights neighborhood to honor our residents living with dementia.
Come back to our page later this weekend to see more photos from our “purple party!” Be sure to send YOUR photos of you and your family walking to Megan at mmcinerney@aspiredlivingprospectheights.com

Our knitting club finished their pumpkins just in time for thanksgiving next week!
While working on these, we’ve recruited a few team members to join the club as well! Knitting has been a great way for our team members to decompress during their break as well as bond with the residents🤗
Behind the Mask: Meet our Viva! Life Coordinators, Katie and Michelle
Katie plans our programs specific to our Assisted Living neighborhood, and Michelle plans our programs specific to our A Knew Day Memory Support Neighborhood. The concept of VIVA! is that it captures the idea that we should be celebrating every stage of life. Everyday is an opportunity to celebrate life, and Katie & Michelle are who brings the “Viva!” lifestyle here to the community. They celebrate our resident lives by individuality, growth, learning, diversity, social prosperity and overall well-being. They strive to create engaging, meaningful programs. They work closely together to plan holiday events, happy hours, music entertainment, etc. We are so lucky to have two such outgoing, fun, and creative Viva! Life Coordinators!
Behind the Mask: Meet our Resident Care Manager, Tanya

Tanya oversees our assisted living neighborhood, and also works very closely with our Memory Support Manager, Megan, for our memory support neighborhood. Tanya’s passion shows each day while her ultimate goal is to provide the best possible care for each of our residents.

Prospect Heights assisted living facility sets up virtual dates for two couples separated by pandemic
338 days. Three hundred and thirty-eight long days since Joann and Ron have seen each other in person. These two love birds both live in our Aspired Living community, but in two separate neighborhoods to get their own specialized care needs. After a long time of patiently waiting, and completing the wait after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine... these two love birds were able to finally see each other face to face... (while still social distancing.) We cannot put into words the amount of pure joy and love that was bursting through this date. Thank you to our culinary team for preparing a delicious meal for them to enjoy together over sharing family photos and dating stories. These 2 sure still see fireworks when they lay their eyes on each other. Happy Valentine’s Day to you, Joann & Ron! ❤️🥰
Mary Agnes and Ed’s Virtual Dinner Date! ❤️ Mary Agnes lives in our community, while her husband Ed lives at his home in Arlington Heights. We reached out to their family to plan a surprise virtual vday date for the two lovebirds! Our culinary team cooked a special meal, and our bus driver delivered it directly to Ed’s home. We were able to surprise these lovers of 56 years with their first socially distanced virtual dinner date. We spent the day pampering Mary Agnes in the spa preparing her for her special night. What a joy it was to see these two faces light up as they talked about the day they met, their wedding, honeymoon, children, etc.
Check out both ABC & NBC for their love story to appear on the news, along with another surprise couple coming up soon.....
