Dr. Aktay is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology. Her special interests feeding and swallowing difficulties, eosinophilic gastroenteritis in infants and children, Helicobacter pylori infection, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), capsule endoscopy and celiac disease. She joined the UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital staff in 2008.
