The Bishop Broadbill Bash is being held in Honor of Rena Bishop and her fight against Breast Cancer. Rena has been a beloved member of the Ocean City community and the Sunset Team dating back to the year 2010. Rena’s infectious smile and super positive personality has captured the hearts of many, generating memories that will remain for years to come. It is for this love that the Fisherman and the local community are rallying around Rena to support her in this very difficult time.

A huge thank you to our friends at Sunset Grille, who held their 5th Annual Pink Party to benefit the John H. "Jack" Burbage Regional Cancer Care Center. This year they were able to raise almost $8,000! Thank you to everyone at Sunset who helped put on such an awesome event!
We are SO EXCITED and looking forward to our very first Festival of Trees kicking off tomorrow at the Princess Royale!

Last week, we successfully transported 10,000 surgical gowns from Wings Field in Blue Bell, PA to Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD.
It took 19 AFE pilots who generously volunteered their time and airplane to transport a total of 100 boxes, equaling 3,000 pounds! Since March, we have scheduled 415 flights to 90 different medical facilities in 15 states to ensure healthcare workers have the critical PPE needed to fight COVID-19.

In early 2020, beloved Sunset Grille employee Rena Bishop was diagnosed with Stage 4 Triple Negative Metastatic Breast Cancer. In extreme attempts to broadcast the most genuine meaning behind "fight with all of your might," the inaugural Rena Bishop Inaugural Broadbill Bash was founded.
The three day tournament hosted by Ocean City Sunset Marina and Sunset Grille was created in an effort to couple Rena’s love for the Ocean City community and passion for offshore fishing, while bringing local fishermen together to raise funds and awareness for Atlantic General Hospital and the John H. “Jack” Burbage, Jr. Regional Cancer Center (RCCC). It is Rena’s wish that others will be able to enjoy the same type of care and compassion that she has in her time of need. It was all done out of love for Rena said Brian Tinkler, Manager of Sunset Marina. Team Rena would like to extend its deepest appreciation to the event participants, organizers, sponsors and supporters!
In its first year The Bishop Broadbill Bash donated $33,606 to the RCCC. "My mission in founding this tournament is to express the importance in fighting to live, instead of living to die. Everyone in life serves a purpose, and I do not plan on leaving this Earth without serving mine. This is my next chapter, my chance to remind people to give it all you have got.
