Proceeds from Wild Wines go toward helping meet the most urgent needs of wildlife at the Little Rock Zoo. Today, we are featuring the talented Auctioneer, Mike Shumard. Spending his entire adult career in the nonprofit sector and ultimately rising to become the Executive Director for Cystic Fibrosis Orange County and then the Executive Director for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Orange County, Mike realized that his skill set and personality lent itself to connecting with donors from the stage. For the past eight years, Mike has been recognized as one of the top benefit auction specialists in Southern California. Rather than the high-pressure method of sales found in the commercial auctioneering sector, he has found his calling in the special appeal, or "Fund a Need." The Foundation for Idaho History and Idaho Historical Society are excited to bring our 12th annual gala to the entire state and beyond in a virtual format. This year we aim to raise funds to support the restoration and repair of an iconic piece of Idaho's history - Guard Tower 1 at the Old Idaho Penitentiary. You'll get an inside look at Guard Tower 1 that visitors to the Old Idaho Penitentiary don't get to see. Dixie Grant, Wine, Eats and Artifacts Chair and Janet Gallimore, Executive Director of the Idaho State Historical Society will take you on a journey through the past to see how this tower impacts us today.

While Kayla Fehringer has been working with Auction Frogs as a client since 2017, she started working with them as an Auction Engineer in March 2020 — just two weeks before the COVID-19 lockdown! In her role, Kayla manages the production aspect of all Virtual Events. Her favorite thing about working at AF is getting to meet people from all over the country and working with many different types of nonprofit organizations. Neuro Diverse Living Inaugural Fundraiser
Time is running out on many of the 5.4 million autistic adults who live in their family home and have been largely supported by their aging parent caregivers.
Without access to affordable housing in their community, or the support to live in their own home, adults with autism are at high risk of homelessness and/or displacement from their community and will likely be “placed in the next empty bed” of a group home or adult foster care that could be hundreds of miles away from their hometown.
Your support of this event is crucial to help raise the funds needed to advance our mission of providing safe & secure smart-home enabled housing communities for adults with autism or other intellectual disabilities.

The Chimpanzee Sanctuary Northwest Virtual Event 2020 was a HOOT! Prior to the big event, they hosted a Happy Hour over Zoom, during which they introduced each chimp at the sanctuary and treated the "residents" to chimp-friendly mocktails. Between their fun pre-show, the virtual event, and their online auction, they raised $247,814 of their $150,000 goal! That's an excess of nearly $100k!
We've found virtual events are a perfect fit for animal sanctuaries like this one. The Center for Great Apes in December had record-breaking viewer numbers! People love to tune in and virtually meet the sweet creatures they are supporting with their auction bids and donations.
